Moldy and Damaged Media
I'M SPECIALISED IN SAVING TAPES THAT MOST COMPANIES DON'T WANNA TOUCH
If you have broken tape or mold or the cassette itself is damaged, please let me know. These media are not lost. I have experience in recounting/cleaning these types of tapes. Sometimes I put the tape in a different housing myself. In order to assess the damage and provide a quote for repair, I need photos. Please feel free to contact me; I work with you to restore and save your damaged memories.

Wat kost het digitaliseren van mijn foto's of video's?
De prijs hangt af van het type materiaal, de hoeveelheid en de staat waarin het verkeert. Stuur me een foto of beschrijving van je materiaal via WhatsApp of via e-mail, dan ontvang je snel en vrijblijvend een offerte op maat.
Hoe lang duurt het digitaliseren?
Gemiddeld duurt het 1 tot 6 weken, afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid materiaal en drukte. Een spoedopdracht is zeker mogelijk. Bij spoed overleg ik graag met je wat de mogelijkheden zijn op dat moment.
Is mijn materiaal veilig bij jou?
Ja. Ik werk in mijn eigen studio in Amstelveen en digitaliseer alles zelf — je materiaal gaat niet naar een extern, anoniem bedrijf. Je krijgt je originele materiaal altijd samen met de digitale bestanden retour.
Wat als mijn band beschadigd of beschimmeld is?
Geen probleem, ik ben hierin gespecialiseerd. Stuur een foto van het materiaal op, dan bekijk ik wat mogelijk is en wat een eventuele reparatie kost. Veel materiaal dat andere bedrijven weigeren, kan ik alsnog redden.
Welke bestandsformaten lever je op?
Voor video kan ik onder andere MP4 (H264/H265) of ProRes422 leveren. Voor foto's en dia's ontvang je hoge-resolutie digitale bestanden, geschikt voor je telefoon, tablet, computer of Smart TV. Heb je een specifiek gewenst formaat? Geef het aan, meestal is dat mogelijk.
Hoe lever je de bestanden op?
Je kunt kiezen voor een gratis downloadlink, of je bestanden op een USB-stick tegen kostprijs.
Kan ik mijn materiaal ook opsturen in plaats van langsbrengen?
Ja, dat kan prima via PostNL, DHL, GLS of een andere vervoerder naar keuze. Langsbrengen in Amstelveen kan ook, op afspraak.
Digitaliseer je ook gekochte films of tv-opnames?
Nee. Ik digitaliseer uitsluitend materiaal dat je zelf hebt opgenomen. Op gekochte films, series of tv-uitzendingen rust copyright, en die neem ik niet in behandeling.
Kan ik ook oude video's laten monteren of een slideshow laten maken?
Ja, naast digitaliseren zijn er meer mogelijkheden, zoals monteren, een slideshow samenstellen of een fotomagazine maken. Vraag naar de mogelijkheden via WhatsApp.
Ik weet niet zeker of jullie mijn type materiaal kunnen digitaliseren — wat nu?
Stuur gewoon een foto van je materiaal (band, cassette, dia's, foto's) via WhatsApp. Ik laat je dan weten of en hoe ik het kan digitaliseren.
